Inspired by architecture and sculpture, I integrate in my creations a certain geometry and my Cartesian vision. I would like to discover the formula of the beautiful, and I reject the idea of uniformity …
Corten is my favorite material. I watch this steel oxidize naturally for several years. I cover it with different plants, discover it, water it … until it reaches the right tone, the right grain of matter. These long experiences are a game of patience which often reveals surprises and the imprints of time.
In the work of the corten, light is truly at the service of matter.
Another aspect of my work is white, with light, they are the perfect union of what I want to reveal: depth, transparency, shade of white, gray, contrasts…
In this alliance, matter offers itself fully to light. ”
