Signed Digigraphies
Biography
Digigraphie is a process for producing art reproductions using digital technology on large-format inkjet printers; the process is certified by the Japanese printer manufacturer Epson.
Papers approved for Digigraphie have undergone lightfastness testing, guaranteeing a lifespan of over 60 years under normal indoor display conditions. These tests were conducted by independent laboratories to ensure impartial results. The list of approved papers is updated periodically and includes smooth or textured fine art papers, canvas, and photographic papers. Four brands are currently represented: Epson, Arches, Canson, and Hahnemühle. The gallery uses Hahnemühle “Photo Museum Etching” 350 gsm paper, made of 100% cotton; it is an ideal medium for images featuring delicate nuances or subtle gray gradients, offering a texture similar to watercolor paper.
Each Digigraphie print is signed by the artist and numbered from 1 to 20.
